This new two-story, three-bay fire station will be the first battalion chief headquarters design that Kansas City has built north of the Missouri River. It includes facilities where all fire companies in the area will obtain fuel and refill / repair air and oxygen equipment. The station will also be used as a training facility for the Department’s fire companies north of the Missouri River.

Fire Station No. 14 received the 2007 "Merit Award" from DBIA Mid-America Chapter for public projects under $15 million.

The site includes parking for 40 vehicles, apron and drive-thru paving for fire apparatus and an underground fuel tank for fire apparatus. The facility of approximately 12,825 SF includes three apparatus bays, emergency generator space, shop area, sleeping dormitory, dayroom space, and a multitude of other amenities.

Olathe Fire Station No. 7 is a new, 3-bay, single-story fire station. This new 13,000 square-foot fire station is located between a new residential neighborhood and new shopping areas, and is designed to mesh these two design styles with sloped shingle roofs and exterior masonry walls.

The Blue Valley West High School, is a complex consisting of approximately 100 acres of buildings and sports fields. The primary structure is a 332,800 square foot, three building complex including academic, athletic and fine/performing art buildings.

Winner of Excellence in Construction Award, 2001 and President's Award presented by Associated Building Contractors.

 

This 300,000 square foot, 2-story facility included three gymnasiums, one in which had an indoor track, and was constructed out of precast concrete. The facility includes a library and computer lab, student center or commons area and a state-of-the-art performing arts center complete with rehearsal and staging areas.

 

This 94,000 square foot facility combines cast-in-place concrete, structural steel and masonry construction. It is comprised of 5 main areas - an Atrium / Commons / Media Center, two classroom wings that are identical, a gymnasium, and an auditorium. The center of the building has been designed to mimic a two-story town square, complete with a 4-sided town square clock, and houses an upstairs commons area with a media center on the lower level.

Titan Construction renovated and remodeled the 8-story, 210,000 square feet which included administrative offices for the County’s personnel and housed the sheriff and legal departments including the Johnson County courts. Over 380 employees and 900 citizens visiting the facility during each business day required coordinating the installation of project elements to be carefully monitored.

The new Lee’s Summit City Hall Campus includes all the City’s administrative offices and Council Chambers. This project is located in down-town Lee’s Summit and will provide the City with an up-to-date facility loaded with today’s technology for security. The two-story structure totaling 76,000 sf has individual departments with security and lock-down capabilities. The Council Chambers was designed with the highest level of security measures.

 

The building is 37,000 SF and contains offices, classrooms, a multi-purpose room, auditorium, garden workshop, greenhouse, and a water treatment facility. There are also 9.6 acres of outside improvements including gardens, a prairie, a forest, a meadow and a wetland.etland.

The project focused on using recycled materials. The architects saved materials from demolished buildings in the Kansas City area and used them on both the interior and exterior of the building, including ceilings and wood flooring.

This project is an addition to the existing Gardner Community Pool. The new addition will connect to the existing pool and include a zero entrance pool, lazy river, and three water slides. The new area also includes a kiddie pool with interactive water features. The pool deck area will include over 30 shade structures and umbrellas. The existing pool is being connected and a few shade structures are being added and the changing facilities are being remodeled. A new concession building is also being constructed to support the pool.

 

This new 46,750 square foot community center facility is located in Swope Park near Starlight Theater. Amenities include a gymnasium, locker rooms, fitness center, swimming pool, swim spa, therapy pool, steam rooms, saunas, elevated running track, classrooms, multipurpose rooms, and offices. This project is designed to comply with Silver LEED Certification Level according to USGBC guidelines.

 

Titan Construction was the general contractor on this new community center facility. The facility included indoor track, gymnasium, indoor pool, exercise area, locker rooms and administrative offices.
